Due to its strategic placement on the Italian peninsula, Cassino, and its abbey, has been the center of many battles - but none were more fiercely fought than the Alliend assault on german positions there in March 1944.
Cassino is a game for 2 players and simulates this historic conflict on the company/platoon level on a comprehensively illustrated map of the battle area. Colorful cardboard playing counters accurately reflect the size and strength of the military units involved.
